Roland KWEMAIN was elected JCI Vice President at the 61st JCI World Congress held in Seoul, Korea, in November 2006.
Born April 4, 1971 in Yaounde, Cameroon, KWEMAIN holds a degree in Marketing from the Douala University (Cameroon). He also has a diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development (World Bank Institute). Since 1999, he is the Executive Director of an NGO, ADCOME, which promotes community development through ICT education by impacting leadership and entrepreneurship skills. He is also and IT consultant with GlobalNet. He resides in the city of Buea, Cameroon, with his wife Marjolaine, and their two children Patrice William and Diana.
After joining JCI Buea Summit in 2002, KWEMAIN participated in the various local and national activities, becoming JCI Buea Summit Secretary General, JCI Cameroon Executive Vice President and JCI Cameroon National President in 2006.
At the international level, KWEMAIN has attended six Area Conferences and three World Congresses. He is a graduate from the 18th Japan Leadership Academy in Kobe and a JCI Certified National Trainer (CNT). He has been honoured as JCI Senator No: 67333. He is a JCI Foundation donor. He speaks English and French.
During 2007, KWEMAIN will serve as JCI Vice President assigned to the national organization members of Benin, Burkina Faso, Comoros, Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Nigeria, Rwanda, Togo, Tunisia, and Uganda.
